Physician Assistants, also known as PA’s, are health care providers in Landau medical scrubs who work with physicians. The work they do may involve diagnosis, therapy, and also preventative health care. PA’s typically have many duties, including examining patients and taking their medical histories, ordering and interpreting x-rays and laboratory tests, diagnosing and treating patients, and prescribing needed medications (in most states PA’s are permitted to prescribe medicines). PA’s monitor patients’ progress and they counsel patients with regard to treatment options.
