At certain speeds, some people report feeling a loss of gravity as if exercising on air.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Using an elliptical trainer on a regular basis is all about cardio output and the maintenance of total body health. The machine is not set up to build muscle. The best use of the elliptical machine is as an alternative to running. Running causing severe impact on the knees which can deteriorate the cartilage surrounding the joints of the lower body. Depleting cartilage can result in painful movement and may require surgery for correction. Elliptical machines are also a fantastic alternative to the treadmill. Many people use treadmills as an indoor exercise when weather outside does not permit cardio exercise. <p style="text-align: justify;">Exercise has been linked to better sleep, health and a more effective immune system. Elliptical machines do not require impact to increase heart rate. For a more strenuous workout, the user can simply move faster or increase the tension, if that feature is available on the elliptical machine. For the older user, simply turned the wheel with a natural, walking gait will provide a more effective workout than walking alone.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">When comparing the joint healthy effects of an elliptical, there are no other machines that can work the body with the same intensity without impact. At first, using an elliptical can be more strenuous than many other exercise machines.</p>
