Health for the addicted person is many times considered a liability. Whether your concern is health for an opiate addiction, alcohol addiction, methadone addiction or some other addiction, your health should be considered an asset in steps toward recovery. Your health should be your greatest asset.

By putting drugs in your body you are making toxic investments in to your most valuable asset, your health. Think for a moment about the health issues that may arise from an addiction problem. You may develop any of the following as consequences of drug abuse or use: HIV, Hepatitis C, skin problems, liver problems, tooth decay, bone problems, venereal diseases and a myriad of other health issues.

Your good health is an asset. Your health should be your greatest asset. Unfortunately, you have made toxic investments in your health. It is time to make your health a valuable asset.

The investment in your health will not only increase your body function, hence increasing your asset, but will be profitable to you in your life style and maybe even in terms of money. God gave us a body that will function properly if it is adequately and properly fed nutritionally.

If you have an opiate addiction, heroin addiction, drug withdrawals, methadone withdrawals or you are in methadone treatment, opiate treatment or any drug treatment you owe it to yourself to improve your health which is main your asset.

As your body becomes an asset to you, you again become an asset to society. Invest today. Invest wisely. It’s your health. It’s your life. It is time for you to live your life to the fullest.

Blue cypress (Callitris intratropica) is in the cypress family of essential oils. It is a slow-growing native Australian cypress tree, exclusive to tropical Australia. We get this oil through steam distillation of the leaves and wood of the tree. Once a blue cypress tree has been harvested it does not re-grow.

This compact tree with blue-green foliage grows in the Northern Territory, Western Australia and Queensland, where it is widespread in coastal and inland areas in zones of higher rainfall. At maturity, the tree reaches heights of 80 feet, its branches spreading to 30 feet at the base. The male cones grow in clusters of three, about 1cm long. The rounded female cones grow to 1.5cm across. Traditionally the Australian Aborigines knew of the amazing skin moisturizing properties of Blue Cypress for thousands of years; they used it to protect their skin from the harsh desert climate. In aromatherapy circles, the oil is sometimes referred to as the “ABC” essential oil – “Australian Blue Cypress”.

How Can Australian Blue Cypress Essential Oil Help Us Today?

Today Australian blue cypress is well known for its skincare properties – specifically moisturizing and soothing properties. Amongst aromatherapists and manufacturers, this oil is considered very similar to Blue Chamomile. Blue cypress may be inhaled directly, diffused or rubbed on the body.
Are those people who have health insurance healthier than those who don’t?

There are people who go through life managing their health properly through nutrition and exercise. They clearly have a health advantage; insurance plays absolutely no role in keeping them healthy.

On the other hand, there are those people on the opposite extreme, who suffer from a chronic medical condition which requires a great deal of costly medical care. Insurance is the only way they can afford to maintain any type of health advantage. Insurance is a necessity for them.

So here we have two extremes: Healthy people who are fortunate enough to take care of their own health and who don’t need health insurance in order to remain healthy and fit. And we have people who unfortunately are battling chronic health issues, who, if they did not have health insurance, would not have been able to maintain their health under control.

In terms of health advantage, insurance can basically be classified as a “necessary evil”. Should the government mandate everyone to get health insurance? In those countries where health insurance is guaranteed by the government, are those people at an advantage over people who live in societies where you must pay for your own health insurance?

In the United States we have the freedom of choice. But does the person who needs health insurance really have a “choice”?

The movement to restore some of the world’s great wetlands to their natural place in the ecosystem has already produced some encouraging results. Both wildlife and humans, thanks to the efforts of many in landscaping streams, can once more enjoy the bounty of Mother Nature’s wetlands.

Landscaping streams requires a commitment to working hard over a long period. It also requires an investment in the proper supplies. If you are involved in landscaping streams first find areas the remaining healthy areas along those streams, and record the kinds of plants growing there. A good way to accurately record the plants indigenous to the stream is with a sketch of the healthy stream banks. With drawings of plants, you can go to a local nursery which carries local wild flowers and native plants, and buy a selection to use in landscaping streams in the area. Buy native plants to use when landscaping streams whenever possible; they are perfectly adapted to the area, and will thrive and spread.

River rocks are much easier to find when you are landscaping streams; you just need to be willing to lug them from one stream to another.

There’s little point in landscaping streams if you don’t take precautions to see that all your newly planted vegetation stays in place long enough to grow strong roots. So you’ll need to protect your plantings with ground screening Ground screening will keep the stream banks from slipping, should wet weather occur shortly after the new plants have been place.
